Job summary

Royal Electric Company is seeking a Project Engineer for its Building Group, focusing on Multifamily and Commercial projects in the Santa Cruz/Monterey area. The PE will support project managers, foremen, and superintendents with field coordination and document control.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, construction/admin experience, proficiency with Office, Bluebeam, PlanGrid and Autodesk; ability to travel between office and job sites; strong written and verbal communication; and a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction Management degree or similar preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Project Engineer or construction admin role
• Understanding of construction process from office to field
• Ability to maneuver between office and project sites
• Ability to prioritize, complete tasks, and address issues in a timely manner
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and Autodesk software

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager(s)/Foremen/Superintendent(s) with manpower activities and documentation
• Maximize productivity of project team by coordinating materials, RFI's, and job-site setup
• Facilitate job closeout activities for QA/QC and as-built drawings
• Maintain relationships that promote project success with subcontractors and vendors
