Royal Electric is seeking a Project Engineer to support multifamily and commercial projects in the Santa Cruz/Monterey area. You will assist Project Managers, coordinate field and office activities, and ensure QA/QC through final inspections.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a construction admin role, strong communication, and proficiency with PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Autodesk, and MS Office. Competitive wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Construction Management degree preferred.
• At least 2 years in a Project Engineer or construction admin role.
• Ability to move between office and job sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Autodesk and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs/Foremen with manpower activities and onboarding.
• Coordinate material ordering, RFIs, and initial job set up; plan site activities.
• Facilitate job closeout; coordinate QA/QC, final inspections, and as-built drawings.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and other trades.
