Job summary

Royal Electric Company is seeking a Project Engineer for our Building Group, focusing on Multifamily and Commercial projects in the Santa Cruz/Monterey area. The PE will support Project Managers, coordinate field activities and ensure QA/QC and timely project closeout.

Requirements include a high school diploma, construction management degree preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanGrid and Autodesk software is desired.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Construction management degree or similar preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Project Engineer or construction admin role.
• Understanding of construction from office to field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, PlanGrid and Autodesk software.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager(s)/Foremen/Superintendent(s) with manpower activities and documentation; onboarding and safety meeting support.
• Maximize productivity through material ordering, RFIs, initial project setup and coordination of jobsite activities.
• Facilitate job closeout with QA/QC review, final inspections, and as-built documentation coordination.
• Maintain relationships with internal teams, subcontractors and vendors to promote project success.
