Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Advanced Facilities Group in Temple, TX. You will work on site with the project team, supporting QA/QC, documentation, procurement logs and progress reporting, while coordinating with foremen and subcontractors to maintain schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering (or equivalent experience) and entry-level construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Entry level construction experience acceptable.
• Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
• Supports estimating, change management, and subcontractor proposals.
• On-site support for monitoring crew, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Prepares reports including daily, weekly progress, and schedules.
