Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company seeks an Entry-Level Project Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group in Tempe, AZ. You will support day-to-day project activities, safety and quality plans, and coordination with field teams on industrial projects.

You’ll learn estimating, change management, and procurement processes while collaborating with foremen, suppliers, and internal teams to keep schedules and documents up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• In lieu of the above, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Entry level construction experience required.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in project QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Assists with estimating and change management, including quantity take-off.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Participates in punch lists, inspections, safety reviews, quality reviews and documentation.
• Posts drawings and specifications with most recent information.
• Organizes and participates in project meetings and distributes required documentation.
• Prepares reports including daily reports, weekly progress, manpower, schedules and tracking.
