Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer, AFG in multiple locations including Texas and surrounding states, with a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field. Entry-level construction experience preferred; responsibilities include safety, QA/QC, estimating support, on-site coordination, and documentation.

The role emphasizes lean practices, collaboration with foremen and subcontractors, and the development of project progress reporting and closeout

Qualifications

• Entry level construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with MS Office and construction documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Supports estimating and change management including quantity take-off and subcontractor proposals.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Assists with punch lists, city inspections, safety reviews, and documentation.
• Posts drawings and specifications with the latest information.
• Prepares and disseminates project documentation and meetings.
• Supports project reporting: daily/weekly progress, manpower, schedules, etc.
