Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group in Columbus, OH. You will work with the project team on-site to support safety, quality, procurement, scheduling and reporting activities.

The role emphasizes learning Lean practices, coordinating with foremen and subcontractors, and developing a solid foundation in construction management while contributing to large Industrial & Manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety, quality, and project documentation per plans.
• Supports QA/QC planning and subcontractor proposals review.
• Assists on-site with monitoring crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Prepares and disseminates project reports and documentation.
• Learns Lean practices and project means/methods for efficiency.
