Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks an entry-level Project Engineer to support core project tasks on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You’ll work with the on-site team to learn safety, QA/QC, and coordination with trades.

The role emphasizes Lean practices, estimating support, and documentation, with opportunities to grow into procurement, scheduling, and reports such as daily logs and progress updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans to support an injury-free environment
• Participate in project QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks
• Assist with estimating and change management, including quantity take-off and reviewing subcontractor proposals
• Work on site with the project team to support tasks such as monitoring crew size, hours, materials, quantity and equipment
• Participate in punch lists, inspections, safety reviews, quality reviews and documentation preparation
• Post drawings and specifications with most recent information
• Organize and participate in project meetings and disseminate required documentation
• Prepare reports including daily reports, weekly progress reports, unit reporting, schedules and equipment tracking
• Perform periodic job site observations with project leadership
• Create procurement logs and track shop drawings and deliveries
