Job summary

JE Dunn Construction invites applications for an entry-level Project Engineer within the Advanced Facilities Group. You’ll join a core project engineering family and support safety, QA/QC, estimating, and on-site coordination on large industrial projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Be prepared for travel and non‑traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic construction tools.
• Understanding of Lean process and construction technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of means and methods of construction management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and culture to support an injury-free environment.
• Participates in QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
• Assists with estimating, quantity take-off, and reviewing subcontractor proposals.
• Supports on-site project team with materials, manpower, and equipment tracking.
• Organizes documentation, meetings, and progress reporting for the project.
• Learns and applies Lean practices in regular activities.
