Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) seeks an entry-level Project Engineer to support core project teams on industrial, data center, and manufacturing projects across the region. You will learn safety, QA/QC, estimation tools, and on-site coordination with foremen and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, progress reporting, and Lean practices, with opportunities to grow your skills in means and methods, procurement logs, and schedule updates.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is required.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Entry level construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Assist with QA/QC planning for tasks.
• Assist estimating and change management, including quantity take-off and reviewing subcontractor proposals.
• Support on-site project tasks: monitor crew size, hours, materials, quantity, and equipment.
• Prepare documentation and participate in meetings; support progress reporting.
