Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). You will work on-site with the project team, supporting safety, QA/QC, estimating, and documentation across large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects.

You’ll build relationships with foremen, superintendents, and subcontractors while developing Lean construction skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Entry level construction experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; willing to travel and/or relocation; willing to work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participate in QA/QC planning for tasks.
• Assist with estimating and change management including quantity take-off.
• Work on site with project team to monitor crew, materials and equipment.
• Participate in punch lists, inspections, safety and quality reviews; prepare documentation.
• Prepare and disseminate project reports and other required documents.
• Support project close-out activities and Lean practices.
