Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities Group's CORE team in Georgia. You will engage in safety and QA/QC practices, support estimating, on-site coordination, and documentation across large Industrial & Manufacturing projects.

The role emphasizes teamwork, Lean practices, and collaboration with foremen, subcontractors, and project leadership, with potential travel and non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and quality plans and culture on site.
• Assist with QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Support estimating and change management via quantity take-offs and subcontractor proposals.
• Work on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Prepare documentation, attend project meetings, and support reporting (daily/weekly).
• Assist in procurement logs and tracking of shop drawings and deliveries.
• Support project scheduling and close-out documentation.
