Job summary

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Project Engineering professional to support core activities on-site across major Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You will engage with project teams, monitor crews, materials, and schedules while learning QA/QC and change management processes.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and Lean-based improvements, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide firm and collaborate with diverse tradespeople.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participate in QA/QC planning to ensure task quality.
• Learn estimating and change management processes and reviews.
• Work on site with project team to monitor crew, hours, materials.
• Participate in punch lists, inspections, safety and quality reviews, and document preparation.
• Post drawings and specifications with latest information.
• Organize meetings and disseminate required documentation.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and other project reports.
• Perform periodic job site observations with project leadership.
• Create procurement logs and track shop drawings and deliveries.
• Provide progress updates to support scheduling.
• Support project close-out activities (punch lists, manuals, as-builts).
• Apply Lean practices to regular activities.
• Develop understanding of self-perform opportunities and integration.
