Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks an Entry Level Project Engineer for the CORE team to learn safety and quality plans, assist with estimating and change management, and support on-site project tasks.

You will help prepare reports, manage drawings, and maintain procurement logs while collaborating with foremen, subcontractors, and the project team to develop lean practices and an understanding of construction means and methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates with project QA/QC planning to ensure quality.
• Learns and participates in estimating and change management processes and tools.
• Works on site with the project team to support monitoring crew size, hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Participates in punch lists, city inspections, safety reviews and required documentation.
