Lockheed Martin Space’s Engineering & Technology (E&T) organization is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager, Asc to lead a team responsible for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) used in the assembly, integration, and test of spacecraft and missile systems.
In this role, the selected candidate lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) focused on developing new business proposals and delivering high‑quality GSE solutions to Space Lines of Business (LOBs). The Project Engineering Manager will guide the team through scoping, planning, and writing BOEs for GSE efforts that directly enable vehicle assembly, test and launch operations.
This position requires strong collaboration skills. The candidate will build and maintain relationships with key partners across the Product Centers, Assembly Integration & Test (AI&T), Operations, and GSE Talent Centers. They will also coordinate new business activities across Space LOBs to ensure alignment, consistency, and successful delivery of GSE products that meet program needs.
Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Full‑Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
