Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related construction experience or Suffolk Career Start Program.
• Ability to adapt to changing processes and solve problems.
• Proficient computer skills with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Log in and track Contracts & Purchase Orders.
• Price, approve or reject Change Orders, Submittals, and RFIs.
• Log in, track and review shop drawings and submittals; respond to RFIs.
• Request Insurance Certificates from subs and review for compliance.
• Create and update Vendor and Subcontractor Contact Log.
• Price and create Proposed Change Orders.
• Submit, track responses and issue RFIs.
• Manage building permit processes and related issues.
• Prepare plan revision submissions to municipality.
• Coordinate with Company Attorneys on contracts and insurance.
• Liaise with subcontractors to resolve disputes or issues.
• Assist with Project Schedule Narratives.
• Distribute Weekly Video to General Manager.
• Create Weekly Meeting Minutes for Owner’s and Subcontractors meetings.
• Set up coordination meetings with Subcontractors.
• Distribute revised drawings to Subcontractors.
• Draft descriptions for Purchase Orders and Subcontract Requests.
• Obtain and track Subcontractor warranty certificates.
• Create close-out manuals.
• Conduct OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER, and other safety trainings.
