Job summary

Alpha Space Control is seeking a Project Coordinator who will manage the sales-to-operations hand-off, build relationships, and support both sales and operations teams. The role emphasizes attention to detail, creativity, and growth with the company.

You will handle pre-construction duties, document control, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth project progression from sale through completion. A strong client service mindset and proficiency with construction software are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management/coordination experience required.
• 3+ years of experience with construction software systems.
• 5+ years of experience in a coordination role with preference in construction.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office suite; adaptable to new software.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, subcontractors and ensure proper handoff of project to Operations team.
• Manage preparation of deliverables for all project phases.
• Create project scope statements, submit submittal packages, and handle pre-construction change orders.
• Identify and process permits, prevailing wage forms and tax exemption certificates.
• Track opportunities for efficiency, e.g., material buy-outs.
• Document control: receive, file, track and distribute all construction documents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors/suppliers on submittals, RFIs, and preconstruction meetings.
• Perform project take-offs (maps).
• Collaborate with team to align on cost, scope, and schedule.
• Estimate small projects; develop scope, customer interaction, cost, and total project sale.
