Job summary

Alpha Space Control in Akron, OH is seeking a Project Coordinator to own the sales-to-operations hand-off, develop relationships, and support both sales and operations. The role requires attention to detail, a creative mindset, and a drive to grow with the company.

You will procure materials, coordinate subcontractors, manage project deliverables, and ensure proper documentation and communication across the team. A valid driver’s license and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with construction software systems.
• 5+ years in a coordination role within construction.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to learn new software quickly.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, subcontractors and ensure proper handoff of project to Operations team.
• Manage preparation of deliverables for all project phases.
• Create project scope statements, submit submittal packages, and execute pre-construction changes.
• Identify permits, wage forms, and tax exemption certificates.
• Track opportunities for efficiency in material buy-outs.
• Document control for construction documents.
• Coordinate subcontractors/suppliers; submittals, RFIs, preconstruction meetings, schedule development.
• Perform project take-offs (maps).
• Collaborate on cost, scope, and schedule alignment.
• Estimate small projects including scope, customer interaction, cost, and total sale.
