Hill International is seeking a Project Coordinator II in San Diego, California.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct coordination support of projects and contracts in a functional area.
• Maintain a general working knowledge of the systems, technologies, and protocols used in deploying system protection equipment for substation, transmission, distribution, and other electrical utility deployments.
• Track and document work standards, contractor schedules, work discrepancies, contractor personnel and communication, and support the program or project manager in meeting organizational purposes and goals.
• Submit completed and approved design request documentation to appropriate work groups.
• Support program and technical operations involving multiple project or task orders across various locations.
• Track planning and execution of all program/technical support activities.
• Maintain documentation supporting the management structure for technical support activities.
• Facilitate site walks and project meetings when the project manager is unavailable.
• Track meeting minutes, arrange meeting schedules, and support risk, issue, and action item tracking.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; equivalency through experience accepted.
• 3–5+ years of experience providing direct project coordination support to program or project managers on construction projects such as electrical/Gas substations, compressors, transmission, distribution, IT, or civil projects.
• CAPM, Agile or other project management certification, training, or demonstrated experience.
• Ability to assess potential financial impact of a project on the company.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
• Ability to build solid business cases and project justifications.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and reporting skills.
• Hybrid schedule, Tuesday–Thursday in the office.

Salary range: $82,000‑$102,000. Salary will be based on qualifications, education, experience, and work location.
