Job summary

Hill International is seeking a Project Manager II in San Diego, California with a strong background in construction project management. You will lead planning, budgeting, and coordination across departments, vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of medium-scale initiatives.

The role requires PMP certification, cost management and risk management expertise, and a hybrid work schedule with in-office presence Tue-Thu in California.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval.
  • Minimum 5-6+ years experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects.
  • PMP required, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with customer approval.
  • IEEE, IEC participating member.
  • Adept at MS Project, Primavera (P6), or equivalent project management planning tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of cost management and controls, budget forecasting, demonstrated risk management and mitigation with exceptional communication skills.
  • California PE Preferred.
  • Hybrid schedule, Tuesday-Thursday in the office.

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
