MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Project Coordinator in California to coordinate multiple project teams, manage subcontractor issues, and provide status updates. The role requires a hands-on approach and a background in construction and purchasing.

You will maintain project documents, generate reports, and coordinate with vendors and consultants to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate work of multiple project teams.
• Identify and remove barriers, especially with subcontractors.
• Provide timely project status updates for management resolution.
• Maintain and update the company database.
• Generate reports and pivot tables; use VLOOKUP.
• Create and track contracts, purchase orders, submittals, and close-out manuals.
• Serve as primary point of contact with external vendors and consultants.
• Handle correspondence between general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors.
