Job summary

Precision Signs is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project managers, estimators, engineers, and stakeholders in planning and executing projects on time and within budget. You will help manage budgets, scheduling, and documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination or similar role.
• Ability to read shop drawings, floor plans and fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Procore, Asana).
• PM certifications (PMP, CAPM) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support projects by coordinating budgeting, scheduling, accounting, engineering, production and installation.
• Coordinate and communicate with project teams, clients, stakeholders and vendors.
• Manage project documentation including meeting minutes, action items and change orders.
• Track budgets and costs, monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Allocate resources including personnel, equipment and materials.
• Suggest process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce risk.

What You'll Do

• Track budgets and costs, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities

• Suggest process improvements to optimize workflow, increase efficiency, and reduce risk in project execution

What You Bring

• Experience in project coordination or a similar role (experience in signs, construction, or manufacturing is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Asana, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, floor plans, and fabrication drawings to verify specifications, measurements, and assembly details
• Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, or similar) are a plus
• A valid NYS driver's license with a clean record
