Job summary

Precision Signs seeks a highly organized Project Coordinator to support project managers, estimators, engineers, and stakeholders in planning and executing projects on time and within budget. This role offers growth potential and exposure to multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate budgeting, scheduling, documentation, and communications while ensuring quality and on-time delivery for sign projects, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination or a similar role; construction/manufacturing backdrop is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Procore, Asana or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication drawings to verify specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support projects by coordinating budgeting, scheduling, accounting, engineering, production, and installation.
• Coordinate and communicate with project teams, clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Manage project documentation including minutes, action items, status reports and change orders.
• Track budgets and costs, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Allocate resources including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Suggest process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce risk.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Experience in project coordination or a similar role (experience in signs, construction, or manufacturing is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Asana, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, floor plans, and fabrication drawings to verify specifications, measurements, and assembly details
• Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, or similar) are a plus
• A valid NYS driver’s license with a clean record
