Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking a planning and scheduling professional to support heavy industrial engineering projects. The role focuses on forecasting construction activities, cost control, and estimating through close supervision.

Ideal candidates have up to 5 years of relevant experience and a background in construction science or related fields. A strong attention to detail and adherence to company standards are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor or Master of Science in Construction Science, Building Science or related field preferred.
• Certification: No certification required for this position.
• Experience: Up to 5 years in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analyses for contract packages to forecast construction activities.
• Identify coordination issues where safety and schedule may conflict.
• Monitor and update schedules via meetings, coordination interviews and field verification.
• Maintain the change notice/change order management system and facilitate hearings.
• Develop estimates for construction projects including change notices.
• Maintain cost system, reconcile commitments, change orders, invoices and cost reports.
