Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking a planning and scheduling specialist to support heavy industrial engineering projects in the United States. You will forecast construction activities, monitor schedules, and coordinate with field teams under close supervision.

Responsibilities include developing schedules for contract packages, updating schedules from meetings and field verifications, maintaining change order management, assisting in change hearings, and preparing cost estimates and cost

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Bachelor or Master of Science in Construction Science, Building Science or related field is highly preferred.
Up to 5 years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
Knowledge and application of company standards; extreme attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify coordination issues where safety and schedule can be in conflict.
Monitor and update schedules by obtaining updates through meetings, coordination interviews and field verification.
Monitor and maintain the change notice/change order management system.
Assist in facilitating weekly change notice hearings and change committee meetings.
Develop estimates for construction projects including those related to change notices.
Develop and maintain the cost system including reconciling commitments, change orders, contractor invoices and producing cost reports.
