Job summary

Vallum Associates in Greenwich, CT seeks an experienced Project Controls Specialist to lead the Procore-driven administration of Commercial & Industrial solar construction projects. The role emphasizes accurate cost tracking, contract management, procurement coordination, and thorough project documentation.

You will own Procore across portfolios, including project setup, template configuration, budget uploads, reporting, and user permissions, while ensuring SOPs are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on Procore experience is required, including project setup, budget and contract management, cost tracking, document control, reporting, and user administration.
• Experience in project controls, construction administration, or project management support.
• Experience supporting Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, purchase orders, subcontract administration, and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project controls and administrative activities for C&I solar construction projects, focusing on Procore.
• Own and manage Procore across projects, including setup, budget uploads, contract management, cost updates, document control, reporting, and user permissions.
• Ensure project managers and internal teams maintain accurate, up-to-date project information and SOPs.
• Draft, execute, and track funding agreements, construction contracts, and subcontracts, keeping documentation organized.
• Prepare purchase orders, tax exemption forms, and procurement documents coordinating with procurement and project teams.
• Track project costs, budgets, commitments, and expenditures; support cost breakdowns and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with accounting on A/R processes to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
• Support tax equity documentation and project cost allocations with Finance.
