Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Manager in Houston to lead project controls teams across multiple projects, ensuring rigorous cost control, scheduling, and earned value reporting. You will drive development of controls systems and processes, coordinating with project managers and disciplines.

You will mentor staff, support change management, and ensure compliance with contract terms while optimizing project performance and predictability.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in project controls, cost controls, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, and project management.
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Construction Science or related field preferred; HS diploma with extensive experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and mentor project controls professionals.
• Develop and implement project controls systems and processes.
• Prepare and maintain project cost and schedule baselines; track progress and performance.
• Analyze data to forecast outcomes and support revenue recognition.
