Job summary

Insight Global in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost, schedule, and performance management for large-scale data center projects across the United States. This role will drive integrated baselines, EVM, forecasting, and reporting to ensure disciplined delivery.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Client teams to provide data-driven insights that support executive decisions and corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in project controls for large-scale industrial, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in cost control, forecasting, planning/scheduling, and earned value management (EVM).
• Proven experience developing project performance reporting, variance analysis, and executive-level project controls reporting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project controls teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead all project controls activities across the program (planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, performance reporting).
• Establish and maintain integrated cost and schedule baselines and baseline change control.
• Ensure project performance metrics accurately reflect status and drive corrective actions.
• Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Client teams.

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join a top energy company in Houston, TX, supporting the engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple hyperscale, mission-critical data centers across the United States. This role will lead all project controls activities, including planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and performance reporting across large-scale data center projects. The Project Controls Manager will establish and maintain integrated cost and schedule baselines, ensure project performance metrics accurately reflect project status, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and corrective actions. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Client teams to maintain cost and schedule discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience
