Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an experienced Estimator / Scheduler to develop and maintain cost estimates and project schedules for large-scale EPC projects in the Houston area. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure budgets, timelines, and scope align with project goals.

The role requires strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project, with a track record of delivering accurate estimates and reliable project controls data for major capital programs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of combined experience in cost estimating and scheduling for large EPC projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software.
• Strong background in developing detailed cost estimates and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive cost estimates (FEL 1–3) from concept through execution.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, OPC, and MS Project.
• Review bids and ensure alignment with project scope and financial expectations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule integrity.
• Provide forecasts and progress updates to stakeholders and management.
