Job summary

AZCO is seeking a Staff Project Controls Specialist to lead project controls with the internal project management team, ensuring deliverables stay within budget and schedule across multiple projects.

You will set up projects in planning software, analyze data, develop WBS, and produce scheduling and cost reports. Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills are essential to succeed in this role at AZCO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of direct project controls experience required.
• Or applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10-hour safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls processes with the internal project management team to execute project deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Develop, implement, and maintain scheduling, cost reports, cash flows and forecasts for multiple projects.
• Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and develop various levels of schedules.
• Interface with the Project Management Team and Accounting Department to review project costs and contingency costs and support external audits.
• Perform field audits to validate accuracy of reporting and processes.
• Capable of assisting with Project Forensic Analysis.
