Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controller or Project Controls Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls for projects across the Great Lakes and Midwest regions. You will collaborate with Project Managers, accounting, and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial management and reporting.

The role requires 3–5 years in project controls or related fields, strong Excel skills, and the ability to analyze data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management.
• Understanding contract terms and project accounting basics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget, contract, and financial management support to Project Managers.
• Assist Project Managers with maintaining project lifecycle per client requirements.
• Coordinate with project accounting to ensure timely invoicing.
• Audit reports for financial impact and profitability optimization.
• Prepare month-end, variance, and ad hoc reports.
