Stantec is seeking a Project Controller/Project Controls Analyst to support project financials across multiple Midwest and West regions, including travel. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting while ensuring contract compliance and effective collaboration with project managers and accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management.
• Understanding contract terms and project accounting methods.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles.
• Ability to coordinate with internal/external processes and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of MS Project and SQL/SharePoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget, contract, and financial management support to Project Managers.
• Assist with lifecycle management of projects per client requirements and guidelines.
• Coordinate with project accounting to ensure timely invoicing per contracts.
• Audit reports for financial impact and gross profit optimization.
• Assist with monthly forecasts and financial estimates.
• Support WBS and CBS creation for budgeting and setup.
• Perform budget and cost control functions end-to-end.
• Prepare month-end, variance, and ad hoc reports.
• Conduct analytics of project data for continuous improvement.
• Complete financial reconciliations; mentor others as needed.
