Role

Title: Project Controller 1

Responsibilities

The Project Controller 1 is responsible for managing and overseeing project financials, schedules, and resources. This role involves negotiating contracts, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with regulations to achieve timely and budget-conscious project completion.

Assist project managers in coordinating schedules, materials, and resources to ensure timely project completion.
Monitor project timelines and milestones to support project controls functions.
Negotiate, administer, and control contracts and agreements related to the project.
Serve as the official County administrative contact with consultants and stakeholders.
Oversee all project controls activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related fields.
Five (5) to Ten (10) years of related full-time paid experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in project management or related fields.
Knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn about project control functions.

Wage / Compensation

Starting Salary range for this job is $180,869.00 - $208,000.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
