Role

Title: Project Controller 1

Responsibilities

The Project Controller 1 is responsible for managing and overseeing project financials, schedules, and resources. This role involves negotiating contracts, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with regulations to achieve timely and budget-conscious project completion.

  • Assist project managers in coordinating schedules, materials, and resources to ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones to support project controls functions.
  • Negotiate, administer, and control contracts and agreements related to the project.
  • Serve as the official County administrative contact with consultants and stakeholders.
  • Oversee all project controls activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of related full-time paid experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in project management or related fields.
  • Knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn about project control functions.
Wage / Compensation

Starting Salary range for this job is $180,869.00 - $208,000.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
