Job summary

Enterris Associates, a trusted construction management firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Los Angeles. The role focuses on resolving complex construction issues, managing large programs, and overseeing schedules, costs, and contracts across multiple projects.

Requires 20 years of professional PM experience, 5 years in large projects (> $50M), and a degree in architecture/engineering/construction management; CCM CMAA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years full-time paid professional project/construction management experience.
• Five (5) years experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects.
• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
• A CCM CMAA credential may substitute for the education requirement.
• Twenty-five (25) years full-time paid professional project/construction management experience.
• Twenty (20) of the 25 years must be managing large programs with projects >$50M.
• Must have five (5) years in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects.
• Preferred: Graduation from a college/university with a degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
• Preferred: CCM CMAA credential.
• Design Build Experience
• Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Experience in LEED certified projects and/or CHPS
• Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) processes

Responsibilities

• Resolves complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements
• Develop, assign, and monitor performance of OARs relative to assigned construction projects
• Reviews status and overall construction project progress relative to submitted construction schedules
• Reviews change orders from all construction projects and assesses their impact on the district
• Assists Regional Directors and other Facilities management staff with bid and contract planning
• Assesses bid specifications according to District needs and probability of completion under stated timeline
• Reviews status and monitors variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting
• Reviews and verifies submitted applications for payment and perform overall fiscal management of multiple construction projects
• Provides functional direction over areas of responsibility including construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control
• Reviews and monitors overall administration of contracts for Architects and related consultants
• Coordinates program activities with other District organizational branches and departments
• Reviews and resolves disputes related to construction projects
• Develop and recommend internal policies and procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management

Certified Construction Manager (CCM) CMAA credential may substitute for education

Title: Senior Project Manager

Position Description

• Resolves complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements

• Reviews and resolves disputes related to construction projects
• Develop and recommend internal policies and procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Professional Experience Level/Other Quali Cations

• Twenty (20) years full-time paid professional project/construction management experience
• Ten (10) of the 20 years must be managing large programs with projects having construction values of more than $50 million (not cumulative)
• Must have five (5) years experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects (may include projects outside of California)
• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
• A Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) may substitute for the education requirement.

OR

• Twenty-five (25) years full-time paid professional project/construction management experience
• Twenty (20) of the 25 years must be managing large programs with projects having construction values of more than $50milllion (not cumulative)
• Must have five (5) years experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects (may include projects outside of California)
• Preferred (Not Required): Graduation from a recognized college or university with a degree in architecture, engineering or construction management
• Preferred (Not Required): A Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).

Additional Preferred Experience

• Design Build Experience
• Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Preferred Licenses And Certificates

• A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the California State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors

Compensation

• This role is salaried/exempt with a base annual salary range of $181,600.00 - $191,600.00 and commensurate with skill, education, experience, and work location.
• This role is bonus eligible after 6 months of employment.
