Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Monroe, NC is seeking a Project Specialist to support the coordination and execution of new equipment installations. You will process all billing transactions, schedule technicians for job sites, and coordinate field planning activities, collaborating with Installation Managers, Technicians, and the receivables team to assure billing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven competence plus knowledge of general billing procedures.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience (2 years billing and/or customer service).
• Some Project Management is a plus.
• Dispatch Experience is a plus.
• Solid computer skills with MS Office products (Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Process all billing transactions relating to new equipment.
• Field Planning Coordination.
• Scheduling technicians to new installation jobsites.
• Basic knowledge of new installation equipment to answer customer questions during schedule confirmations.
• Coordinate with outside operations, Installation Managers and Technicians.
• Work with receivables and US branches to ensure accurate billing and avoid customer questions.
• Create installation calls and update customer information for door identification tags.
• Complete required billing documents and lien releases.
• Perform other administrative functions as directed by Manager.
• Support reporting manager for daily functions.
