Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions, in the United States, seeks a Project Specialist to support installation coordination and billing workflows. The role involves scheduling technicians, processing billing transactions, and coordinating with Installation Managers, Technicians, outside operations, and US branches to ensure accurate billing and smooth project execution.

The position reports to the NA Project Specialist Manager within the Finance department and offers a hybrid

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2 years billing and/or customer service experience.
• Project management experience a plus.
• Dispatch experience a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented with strong organization.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Ability to coach peers and analyze reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process all billing transactions relating to new equipment.
• Field Planning Coordination.
• Schedule technicians to new installation jobsites.
• Provide basic knowledge of equipment to address questions during schedule confirmations.
• Collaborate with outside operations, Installation Managers and Technicians.
• Work with receivables and US branches to ensure accurate billing.
• Create installation calls and enter/update customer data linked to door ID tags.
• Complete required billing documents and lien releases.
• Perform other administrative tasks as directed by Manager.
• Support reporting manager for daily functions.
