Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our fast-paced Accounting Department. The role focuses on monthly project billing for multiple Project Managers, ensuring accurate invoicing and supporting the team with reports and data analysis.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience in professional services, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint. Training will be in-person, with a hybrid schedule possible after completion.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of accounting experience in architecture, engineering, consulting, or professional services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Billing practices; Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar project-based accounting software preferred.
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly project billing for multiple Project Managers.
• Collaborate with project staff and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Provide financial support through generating reports and analyzing data.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
