Cobalt Service Partners, a PE-backed platform, seeks a Controller to lead accounting operations across a single operating company. You’ll own close, reporting, project revenue recognition, and job costing to guide operating decisions.

The role requires GAAP mastery, multi-entity ERP experience, and proficiency with payroll and ADP-like tools. This position offers impactful scope and growth as we expand across locations.

Qualifikationen

• Technical accounting experience across public accounting, audit, or complex operations.
• GAAP knowledge including ASC 606, revenue recognition, WIP and project accounting.
• Experience with ERP tools and multi-entity environments; payroll systems experience.
• Proficient in Excel and data modeling; strong analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, able to bring structure to ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Close & reporting: manage monthly close with speed and accuracy.
• Project revenue: recognize revenue per ASC 606 and manage WIP/inventory.
• Job costing: own margins and cost visibility for projects.
• Analysis & forecasting: prepare EBITDA, cash flow, and leadership insights.
• Accounting maturity: help move from cash to accrual accounting where needed.
• Transactional finance: oversee payroll, AR, AP, and expenses.
