Job summary

Cobalt Service Partners is building a leading commercial access and security integration platform in North America, backed by Alpine Investors. We are growing and hire Controllers to lead accounting operations at our operating companies.

As a Controller, you will own month-end close, payroll, reporting, and analysis across multi-entity environments, ensuring GAAP compliance and ASC 606 revenue recognition. Prior CPA and ERP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have strong GAAP knowledge and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with job costing, project revenue, and close processes.
• Excel modeling and clear communication Skills required.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and improve speed and accuracy.
• Manage project revenue recognition for projects and inventory.
• Own job costing and margin visibility, partnering with operations.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts including EBITDA and cash flow.
• Ensure accurate payroll, AR, AP, and expenses; oversee team.
• Apply GAAP and reinforce procedures across the accounting function.
• Utilize ERP platforms and ADP payroll; drive systems improvements.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
