Job summary

Cobalt Service Partners is building a leading commercial access and security integration platform in North America, backed by Alpine Investors. We hire Controllers to lead accounting operations across operating companies and to contribute to financial close, reporting, and analysis for multi-entity environments.

The role focuses on project-based revenue recognition, job costing, and maintaining GAAP discipline. In-person work at multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting background with GAAP, ASC 606, and project accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity environments and ERP systems.
• Proficient in payroll processing, financial reporting, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close and improve speed and accuracy.
• Manage project revenue recognition under ASC 606 and WIP.
• Own job costing and margin visibility with operations.
• Prepare EBITDA, cash flow forecasts, and senior leadership analyses.
• Support transitioning from cash to accrual accounting and data clean-up.
• Oversee payroll, AR, AP, and expense processing.
