The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling data and office systems across multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Experience in public administration or housing-related fields is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full-time or equivalent part-time administrative experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to initiate and complete moderately complex projects with minimal supervision.
  • Good judgment and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in public administration, housing, program management, or real estate is preferred.
  • Proficiency with office and computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Google Workspace is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information and assistance to clients and community members by phone, email, and in person.
  • Support workshops, outreach activities, and other program-related initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for programs, contracts, and projects.
  • Perform data entry and maintain electronic and hard-copy files.
  • Prepare bulk mailings, advertisements, email communications, and other outreach materials.
  • Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), service orders, contracts, invoices, and payments.
  • Prepare and track enrollment and program commitment forms.
  • Track and report on program budgets, production, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct research and prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as requested.
  • Coordinate with other teams to support telephone coverage and program activities.
  • Provide administrative assistance to other teams or divisions as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Description

We are seeking a Program Assistant to provide administrative and program support for housing stability programs and operations. This is a fully onsite position in Boston, MA. Hybrid or remote work is not available.
