Job summary

UC San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a Project Analyst for a 50% appointment to coordinate mentoring, administrative, and research programs in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics. The role develops project plans, tracks milestones, and prepares reports for NIH and internal stakeholders in a collaborative lab setting.

The ideal candidate will manage dashboards, event logistics, and SOPs, while supporting lab operations and DEI initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; minimum 3 years in project coordination or similar role.
Strong budget, data analysis, and reporting skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage project plans; organize meetings, events, and reports for stakeholders.
Maintain dashboards tracking mentee progress, milestones, and outcomes; support NIH reporting.
Coordinate scheduling, agendas, minutes, slide decks, and event materials with partners.
Support DEB DEI committees, planning calendars, roadmaps, and cross-project alignment.
Conduct post-implementation analyses and synthesize findings for program improvement.
Prepare scope, budgets, and reports for project requirements; track expenses.
