Job summary

University of California - San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a Project Analyst to support mentoring, administrative, and research programs within the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics. The role focuses on coordinating activities for NIH-funded initiatives and lab operations, creating dashboards, and developing reporting templates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
Minimum 3+ years directly relevant experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Analytical and problem-solving skills; synthesize large data sets.
Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.

Responsibilities

Provide analyses for complex budget, financial, academic, data, systems and resource projects.
Maintain dashboards for mentee progress and portfolio outcomes; support NIH reporting.
Lead or participate in policy and planning committees and roadmaps; align timelines.
Conduct post-implementation analyses and evaluate mentoring activities for improvements.
Develop proposals, budgets, and reports; draft SOWs and track expenses.
Coordinate schedules, events, and collaboration with internal/external partners.
