Job summary

D&G Solutions seeks a Project Analyst to support the U.S. Coast Guard in Washington, DC, with a hybrid work model and on-site presence three days per week at the Coast Guard HQ. The role interfaces with veteran government personnel and senior officers, driving project rigor and accountability.

The successful candidate will develop plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure adherence to PM practices while maintaining clear documentation and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of project analysis/PM experience.
• Experience with Coast Guard or government programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets that meet stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution, including establishing goals, objectives, and priorities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while developing and implementing effective contingency plans to minimize potential impacts.
• Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders on a regular basis, providing timely and accurate updates on project status, issues, and changes.
• Ensure compliance with established project management methodologies, standards, and best practices, including those related to quality, safety, and environmental management.
• Communicate project status, issues, and changes to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and timely manner, including recommendations for corrective action as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and store project documentation, including project plans, status reports, lessons learned, and other relevant records, in accordance with document management policies and procedures.

Why This Role Exists

D&G Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Project Analyst to support the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Office of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Information Applications (C5I Apps) in Washington, DC. This role will have regular contact with veteran government employees (GS-15) and senior military officers (O5/O6).

What You Will Do

• Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets that meet stakeholder requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience performing the responsibilities listed above.

Preferred

• 10+ years of experience performing the responsibilities listed above.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience directly supporting a Coast Guard Program Executive Office (PEO).

Clearance and Eligibility

• U.S. citizen required.
• Current security clearance or Tier 1 (T1) Public Trust investigation preferred.
• Current CAC or PIV credential, or current favorable suitability determination preferred.

Location

• Hybrid position requiring at least 3 days per week on site at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC.
