Job summary

Middough Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to support the end-to-end project accounting process for our client portfolio.

You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining client accounts in Middough's system, ensuring compliance with corporate billing, reporting standards and contract terms. You will collaborate with a team of project accountants to process weekly invoices, respond to client inquiries, and perform a range of general accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience highly desired.
• Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable.
• Able to communicate and develop strong business relationships with clients and all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized with the ability to plan and multi-task.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the integrity and timeliness of information to meet requirements.
• Support end-to-end project accounting setup and maintenance per Middough policy.
• Open, maintain, and close project files per client portfolio.
• Process weekly client invoices based on client documents.
• Research and resolve invoice statements and explanations.
• Perform general accounting tasks including input, processing, analysis and reporting.
• Maintain strong professional relationships to facilitate invoicing and collections.
• Handle confidential material per company policy.
• Assist with accounting department audits as needed.
