Job summary

IPM is seeking an Accountant to bridge Operations and Finance, ensuring accurate project budgeting and revenue recognition. The role supports AR/AP, month-end close, and budgeting processes while safeguarding confidentiality and complying with deadlines.

You will interact with consultants and operations leaders, manage project terms, review proposals, and provide financial data analysis. A bachelor's in accounting or finance and GAAP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 2+ years accounting experience and GAAP knowledge.
• Exposure to an ERP system (Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint preferred).
• Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable including invoicing and monitoring past due items.
• Handle Project Accounting: terms, budgets, revenue recognition, and project numbers.
• Review project proposals to protect IPM's financial interests.
• Support Accounts Payable and month-end close.
• Assist with annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Manage corporate insurance policies and annual audits.
