Talentify is seeking a Project Accountant to manage the financial lifecycle of multiple engineering, consulting, and project-based initiatives. The role partners with project managers and technical teams to oversee billing, contract administration, budgeting, collections, and financial reporting.

You will maintain project budgets, track variances, generate financial reports, and ensure accurate invoicing aligned with contract terms and milestones.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project accounting and managing the financial lifecycle of multiple projects.
• Proficiency in invoicing, contract billing, and aligning billing with terms and milestones.
• Experience supporting accounts payable and time/expense processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full financial lifecycle of multiple projects, including costs, budgets, and records.
• Prepare and review client invoices and billing per contract terms and milestones.
• Enter and maintain project budgets in systems, track expenditures, and flag variances.
• Administer project contracts and ensure compliance with billing structures.
• Generate and analyze project financial reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor receivables and support collections to improve cash flow.
• Provide backup for accounts payable tasks and timesheet/expense processing.
• Coordinate with general ledger and construction accounting where applicable.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to resolve financial issues affecting delivery.
• Maintain accuracy and documentation quality across all project accounting activities.
