Job summary

Fives Group seeks a Project Accounting Coordinator in Hillsboro, Oregon to manage project accounting, billing, and financial reporting for multiple client projects. You will work with Project Managers, maintain budgets at the WBS level, ensure timely invoicing, and help keep WIP under 45 days, with occasional travel and a valid driver's license required.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in business administration with accounting coursework and 8+ years of general accounting experience,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration preferred with a concentration in accounting courses.
• Eight (8) or more years experience in general accounting preferred.
• Personal computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting duties, i.e., determine proper accounting entries, reconcile entries, prepare accounting reports, and maintain project accounts.
• Meet and coordinate with Project Managers to discuss project accounting procedures or concerns.
• Project set up and revision to project close out; project status.
• Maintain project profiles for specified clients from beginning to end, including budgets at WBS level.
• Prepare invoices according to authorized agreements and maintain WIP to <45 days.
• Assist PMs with aged AR and collections and communicate with clients as needed.
• Coordinate with Asst Controller and Division Managers to discuss billing and earnings process concerns.
