Job summary

HFW Companies, a growing professional services network, seeks a Project Accountant to support the Regional Finance Manager and member firms. You will manage AR/AP, invoicing cycles, and project financial analysis while ensuring timely and accurate data flow.

Collaborate with Project Managers and finance teams to improve project cash flows, assist in audits, and provide insightful reports for decision-makers. This role emphasizes relationship-building across partner firms and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent; two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Extensive knowledge of project and cost accounting.
• Understanding of GAAP principles and practices.
• Proficiency with professional services accounting software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide AR/AP support and assist in invoicing cycles.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and finance teams on monthly invoicing and variance analysis.
• Process vendor invoices per financial policies; monitor cash flow.
• Prepare periodic project reports and support audits.
• Develop relationships with member firms’ accounting teams and drive communications.
