Job summary

ENGEO, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to connect project managers with clients by managing financial data, resolving billing issues, and ensuring contract-compliant invoices. You will collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment and contribute to accurate project accounting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, proficiency with Excel and basic software, and a strong desire to learn and automate processes, with engineering/consulting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and issue complex project invoices in strict accordance with established contract terms.
• Maintain and update client and project database files to ensure data integrity.
• Act as a primary resource for clients and internal project managers, answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
• Monitor project financials and proactively provide relevant updates to stakeholders.
